croatia the beautiful

hey guys! so this is my 6th day in croatia. its AMAZING here. we have been cruising around the Dalmatian islands these past few days, stopping at the little islands to do all sorts of shopping, bar hopping, and adventure activities. you all will NEVER believe what i did yesterday. i went repelling down a 100 ft cliff into a freezing river. im not going to say that i wasnt scared because i was TERRIFIED...haha. the worst part was the actual decent down the cliff as you have to trust your rope holders as they dangle you over the cliff as you begin to go down. as you climb down 100 ft, a lot of things go through your mind..haha. especially, is this even safe?! but i got a very nice view of the beautiful waterfall that led into the river that we descended into. then we floated down the river to another repelling section, then floated some more, then found our bus again. it was quite exciting. this morning i went rock climbing (something else i never thought id do) and i made it to the top of a 40 ft climb! i am so proud of myself because the last time i went i couldnt even make it up all the way, i just dangled and cried...i think that was in 7th grade or something. bahaha.

as of right now i am in omish, an old pirate town. tomorrow we are heading to split, its apparently party central of croatia, so i intend on testing that theory...haha. well i hope you all are well. even though i am having an amazing experience, i do get homesick from time to time. i cant wait to see you all when i get back in 9 days.
